Known as the live music capital of the world, Austin is one of the fastest growing tech cities in the country.

There’s something for everyone here: amazing outdoor adventures courtesy of being surrounded by Texas Hill Country and Lady Bird Lake, intimate music venues where you can catch a glimpse of a rising folk star, or local college football games where you can root for and support the Longhorns.

Austin is also home to an abundance of high tech companies, including Dell, Apple, Atlassian, Oracle, IBM, EA, and more.

New restaurants are constantly opening up to check out, but there are also popular staples like Hopdoddy, Torchy’s, and of course, The Salt Lick.

If going to bars is more your thing, world-famous 6th street awaits with a variety of options such as The Jackalope, Midnight Cowboy, Parish, and more. You can be sure that you’ll be able to find a live band playing at one of the venues along 6th street.

Zilker Park offers an oasis of outdoor activities just south of the Colorado River. Explore the Zilker Botanical Garden, go for a run along the river’s edge, or explore one of the many nearby museums.

Austin’s a thriving city with plenty to keep you busy, whatever your interests may be!
